Water Baptisms

Water baptism is the first step of obedience to Jesus Christ after a soldier, sailor, or marine begins a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Water baptism can happen in a variety of places; whether at a beach on a military base like it did for Brian Lentz (sailor) and Danielle Neitzke (marine), or in a church baptistry like it did for Brandon Justice (sailor) and Trever Cole (sailor), or in the Columbia River in Oregon like it did for Mandi Weber (Navy wife).

Most importantly, water baptism is a public declaration of what has happened inside a person's heart - receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is a public identification with Jesus Christ.

As you can see from the pictures in our photo gallery, we believe water baptism is to be done by total immersion in water. That's because the word "baptism" means "to immerse," and is the pattern found in the Bible.
